President the Law College Students League at the Lebanese University in 1966.

Secretary of the Lebanese University Students Leagues in 1966.

Secretary of the University Students Union in 1966.

Advocate affiliated to the Bar Association in Beirut in 1967.

Founder of a legal practice office which includes at present 10 advocates having experience and legal qualifications relevant to commercial, penal and administrative cases, management of real estates, arbitration and management of debts collection.

Special consultant for the Lebanese Council of Ministers 1973-1975 (Prime Ministers Takieddine al-Solh, Rashid al-Solh and Rashid Karamé).

One of the founders of the Cooperative Association Movement in Beirut and the Regions since 1977 and until 1997.

Member of the Bar Association Board in Beirut from 1988 and until 1996. He obtained the highest number of votes in two election rounds.

Secretary of the Bar Association in Beirut from 1988 and until November 1991.

Member of the Permanent Bureau of the Arab Lawyers Union as from 1988 and till today.

General Coordinator for the Training Program of Lebanese Lawyers organizes by the Arab Lawyers Union, the Legal Society for England and Wales, the Bar Associations of Beirut and Tripoli and member of the Scientific Committee for the program in 2003.


Participant in the congress held in Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, about “The Establishment of a Court of Complaints in Jordan” organized between the Kingdom’s parliament and government and Denmark’s parliament and government and the office of the Danish Complaints Investigator, October 2004.


Lecturer and participant in the Third Meeting of Advocacy and Legal Counselling offices held in Muscat – Oman Sultanate, April 2005, organized by the Center of Arbitration of the Gulf Cooperative Council.

First Advocate from the Beirut Bar Association who was elected member in the Permanent Bureau of the Arab Lawyers Union for the seat created for Beirut Bar Association at the Arab Lawyers Union Congress in 1997. He was elected Assistant Secretary General of the Union in 1988 and still holds this position.

Legal Consultant to the Engineering, Design and Technical Consultants Company (Shair and Partners) from 1/1/1977 until present. This company is specialized in studies, design, engineering works of various kind including architecture, town planning, civil engineering and includes construction engineering, irrigation works, waste water sewage, ground waters, roads, dams, electrical and mechanical engineering, chemical industries engineering; industrial, economic, development, and administrative studies and all similar works and relevant thereto.
